I disorder and have been taking Abilify for about a month. I wanted to try mushrooms in a week, and I wanted to make sure it was safe to mix the two without any negative effects. You may need a counteracting medication to help relieve this side effect such as cogentin or artane. Or as you tried before you could try switching medicines to see if it helps. Because you took it for only four weeks, youd still be on the lowest dose. It made me so anxious and revved up that I felt like I wanted to kill someone. Some people do become sedated from it but lower doses will make you less depressed. Bipolar diorder turned out to be PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder) I will be seeking help from a councelor as well as undergo meds. I use a regiment of natural herbs, tai chi, yoga meditation to help me through rough patches. It would be a good idea to discuss this with your doctor.
