I keep all of my outlook PST files (which includes old backup archives when I used POP3 for over 10 years) on a different harddrive because they take up about 6 gigs. and I have a separate windows partition for making backup images with Acronis. I was trying to get my IMAP folder to the same location where all my other PST files were for convenience (and so that every time I made a backup of my C: drive, I didn't have a 1.5 gig IMAP PST hanging out in there).
